“An individual finds themselves in the midst of a world that is complex and constantly changing. What happened before? In what direction is it going?
Questions one could ignore and just not think about. Try to float freely in the big water instead. But mostly that’s not the case. People want answers and people think a lot. When trying to put our answers into words it can be hard for others to understand. If they are put into images it’s even worse.
We asked ourselves the most corny question we could possibly agree upon and each artist answered it with an artwork. These got passed on to the next person who then produced a new artwork in a different media referring to the one before. This was repeated four times.
One could only see the work that was one step before, but without any context or explanation. In total there were five separate work cycles like this, the order for each was randomly generated.”
